The unhygienic surroundings may increase the risk of diseases and mosquito breeding. Health activist A. Veronica Mary is urging the hospital administration to take immediate action to remove sludge from the drainage system and cover the openings to prevent infectious diseases. She believes that a small investment in solving the drainage problem would go a long way in ensuring a healthy environment for everyone at the hospital.
