The Inspector General of Police and Customs in Muscat has issued a decision to amend some provisions of the Executive Regulations of the Foreigners’ Residence Law. The decision includes granting a free ten-day visit visa for passengers and crew of tourist ships, as well as a one-month visit visa for the same group. These visas will be granted by the competent authority upon request of the tourist ship agent and allow entry and residence in Oman for tourism purposes. The visas must be used within 30 days from the date of issuance. This decision aims to facilitate tourism in Oman and make the visa process easier for tourists.
