Union Minister of Civil Aviation, K. Rammohan Naidu, emphasized the importance of connectivity for the development of Andhra Pradesh. He inaugurated two new flights between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, expressing the government’s commitment to improving air connectivity. Naidu highlighted the efforts to introduce new flights and increase international connectivity from various cities in the state. He also discussed plans for the development of airports and increasing international cargo services. Additionally, changes have been made to allow Sabarimala pilgrims to board flights with their ‘Irumudi’ till January 2025. The government is taking steps to address hoax bomb threats and ensure strict penalties for offenders.
