Citizens told to Dial 1912 after heavy rain warning in Vizag

Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (AP EPDCL) has urged consumers in 11 districts to call the toll-free number 1912 in case of emergencies due to the rainfall warning from the India Meteorological Department. The DISCOM chairman assured that they are prepared to respond quickly to any emergencies during calamities like cyclones or heavy rainfall. The government has issued a warning to the people of the state due to the forecasted heavy rains from a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. Consumers can also call other emergency numbers for assistance from the DISCOM in different districts.
