Charlie Puth surprised fans with a new holiday song called December 25th, which he wrote and recorded on a whim while working on his upcoming album. The song has a nostalgic 80s-inspired sound and heartfelt lyrics about missing someone on Christmas. Despite the emotional tone of the song, Puth recently got married to Brooke Sansone in a beautiful ceremony. He has been teasing his fourth studio album, CP4, since 2022, with only four out of fourteen tracks released so far. The holiday song is a departure from the album’s sound but Puth wanted to share it with fans for the holidays.
