Kalidas Kolambkar, an eight-time MLA in Maharashtra, is confident about winning his ninth term in the upcoming assembly elections. He aims to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by achieving this feat. Despite the trend of MLAs not getting re-elected in his constituency, Kolambkar remains undefeated since 1990. He has switched parties but has always emerged victorious. He credits his political guru Balasaheb Thackeray for his success. Kolambkar joined BJP in 2019 to address his constituents’ needs and has seen positive developments in his area since then. The Maharashtra Assembly elections are set for November 20, with results on November 23. The opposition MVA alliance is vying to regain power against the Mahayuti alliance.
