Asyad to renovate cruise terminal in Muscat

Asyad Ports in Muscat is seeking bids for the renovation of the cruise terminal at Port Sultan Qaboos to accommodate the increasing number of tourists visiting Oman. The deadline for submitting bids is October 28, with the technical bid opening on the same day. The cruise terminal is an important entry point for tourists visiting Oman, and with the growing popularity of cruise tourism, the renovation is necessary to enhance the passenger experience. The cruise ship season in Oman is from October to April, with the number of tourists expected to increase this year. In the first phase of the cruise season this year, 102 ships and over 200,000 passengers visited the ports of Muscat, Salalah, and Khasab.
