Ariana Grande praised her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo for being a supportive friend and inspiration. She credits Erivo for teaching her to stand up for herself and be truthful. Grande shared that Erivo has helped her heal and become more of an ally to herself. The two stars will be appearing in the theatrical release of Wicked on November 22, directed by Jon M. Chu, focusing on the characters of Elphaba and Glinda.
