All illegal constructions on lake bunds and govt. land in Andhra Pradesh will be removed, says Minister

The Andhra Pradesh Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Ponguru Narayana, has announced strict action against illegal constructions on lake bunds and government land. He emphasized that all illegal occupiers will have to vacate, with alternative arrangements made for the poor. The Minister highlighted the TDP government’s efforts to provide tap connections for safe drinking water in Machilipatnam, contrasting it with the lack of action during the YSRCP’s tenure. He reviewed arrangements for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Machilipatnam, where he will interact with Safai Karmacharis and distribute protective gear. The Minister also discussed issues with corporation officials ahead of the visit.
