11,000 people having permanent residences on Musi will be rehabilitated in 2-BHK homes: Telangana CM



Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recently announced plans to rehabilitate around 11,000 people living on Musi River in double-bedroom homes. He emphasized the government’s commitment to demolishing encroachments and warned encroachers about the consequences. Mr. Reddy also discussed the Musi River Development Project, which will provide opportunities for the poor to do business. He urged those who have built structures on water bodies to voluntarily relocate, as these structures cannot be regularized. Additionally, he highlighted the impact of encroachments on water bodies, leading to devastating floods. The Chief Minister also mentioned plans to construct Residential Police Schools in Hyderabad and Warangal for the children of police personnel.
