Wilson breaks WNBA single-season scoring record



A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces broke the WNBA single-season scoring record with her 940th and 941st points on a jumper just before halftime against the Indiana Fever. She finished the game with 27 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks, bringing her total points for the season to 956. Wilson, a two-time league MVP, has been averaging 27.3 points and 11.9 rebounds per game. She had sat out the previous game due to an ankle injury but returned strong. The Aces have four games left in the season, including a rematch against the Fever.
