Free agent guard Courtney Vandersloot is set to sign a one-year deal with the Chicago Sky, according to a league source. Vandersloot, a five-time All-Star and five-time All-WNBA pick, returns to the Sky, the team that drafted her in 2011. She spent the past two seasons with the New York Liberty, helping them win their first WNBA title in 2024. Vandersloot, who has led the league in assists seven times in her career, will now lead a young Sky team alongside second-year posts Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. The Sky also recently hired Tyler Marsh as their new coach.
