Two Jewish students at DePaul University in Chicago were assaulted by masked attackers while showing support for Israel. The university’s president condemned the attack and stated that it goes against the school’s values. The students declined medical treatment for their injuries. DePaul is working with the police to determine if the attack can be classified as a hate crime and is offering support to the affected students. The university is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students and will not tolerate any acts of hatred or violence on campus. Students are encouraged to report any threats or violence to Public Safety.
