A Texas man, Mithovar Christopher Antoine Jr., was arrested for the fatal stabbing of Nikolas Martinez in 2021. Martinez was stabbed near his apartment complex in South Austin while taking a break from playing video games with his nephew. Antoine Jr. was released on bond four days after being booked into jail. Martinez’s parents have been seeking justice for their son and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Austin Police received an anonymous tip leading to Antoine Jr.’s arrest. He has a history of criminal activity and could be facing additional charges. A grand jury will need to indict him for Martinez’s murder.
