Texas man pardoned over Jan. 6 attack is wanted in 2016 charge of soliciting a minor

A Texas man, Andrew Taake, who was released from prison under a pardon from President Trump for his involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, is now wanted for a 2016 charge of soliciting a minor online. Despite Texas authorities’ request to hold him for the pending warrant, Taake was released and is now being sought by law enforcement. Similar incidents involving other Jan. 6 participants include a man from Indiana who was fatally shot by police after charges were dropped, a Florida man arrested on federal gun charges, and a Kentucky man facing criminal charges after being pardoned by the president.
