Stranded cancer survivor desperately searches for medical supplies in wake of Helene



Stephen Bracciale, a 71-year-old diabetic cancer survivor, found himself stranded after leaving his hurricane-damaged home in search of a place to charge his phone and iPad. His blood sugar spiked dangerously high after being taken for a drive by a neighbor, and he was rushed to the hospital. Unable to return home due to closed roads, Bracciale and his son have been desperately searching for insulin and medical supplies. His wife, Debra, is also stranded without running water. Despite the challenges, Bracciale remains in good spirits, expressing frustration with the situation but also gratitude for the help he has received.
