Rob Demovsky, an NFL reporter at ESPN, covers the Green Bay Packers and has been doing so since 1997. He reported that quarterback Jordan Love’s groin injury from Sunday’s game against the Jaguars is not expected to keep him out long term. Tests showed it’s a strain, and his availability for the upcoming game against the Lions will depend on how he progresses throughout the week. If Love can’t play, Malik Willis will start in his place. Additionally, cornerback Jaire Alexander’s knee injury doesn’t seem to be serious, but his availability for the next game is still uncertain. Love played through the first half with the injury but had to leave the game in the third quarter.
