Sophia Bush teases Grey’s Anatomy debut: ‘Wasn’t done with my scrubs’

Actress Sophia Bush is making a return to the medical drama world by joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy for its 21st season. She will be playing the role of Dr. Cass Beckman, a trauma surgeon at Seattle Presbyterian Hospital who is described as amiable and a little messy around the edges. Bush teased her upcoming role on Instagram by sharing a video of herself in scrubs. She previously starred in the medical drama Good Sam in 2022 as Dr. Sam Griffith. Fans of Good Sam will remember her reunion with her One Tree Hill costars during the show’s run. Bush’s character on Grey’s Anatomy is married to a cardiothoracic surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial, though his casting has not been announced yet. She is set to debut in the sixth episode of the new season airing on November 6.
