Russia, Ukraine exchange 206 prisoners in second swap in two days

Russia and Ukraine conducted a prisoner exchange with the help of the United Arab Emirates, with 206 individuals being swapped. President Zelenskyy stated that all 103 Ukrainians returned were military personnel. The Russian Defense Ministry mentioned that the exchanged soldiers had been taken prisoner in the Kursk region during a surprise incursion by Ukrainian forces. This successful exchange was the result of ongoing negotiations and mediation efforts. Ukrainian officials have been working to secure the return of captured individuals, with over 3,600 Ukrainians being brought back through various exchanges. The freed servicemen were seen celebrating and expressing their gratitude upon their return home.
