Qantas plane returns to Australia airport, makes emergency landing due to engine failure

A Qantas plane had to make an emergency landing at Sydney Airport due to a contained engine failure, which caused a grassfire on a nearby runway. The flight was bound for Brisbane but safely returned to Sydney after circling for a short period. Despite a loud bang, there was no explosion, and the engine failure was contained within its housing. The airport had to briefly close one runway for inspection, but all runways reopened later in the day. Passengers reported hearing a loud bang and feeling a shudder during takeoff, but the plane landed safely with no injuries. Qantas is investigating the engine issue and providing support to affected customers.
