The U.S. Postal Service had initially announced they would stop accepting shipments from China and Hong Kong due to new tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. However, less than 12 hours later, they reversed this decision and agreed to resume accepting international inbound mail and packages from these countries. The USPS and Customs and Border Protection are working together to ensure an efficient collection mechanism for the new tariffs. China had previously stated they would take necessary measures to protect their companies and urged the U.S. to stop politicizing economic and trade issues.
