New York Times tech union goes on strike, one day before election

The New York Times Tech Guild, made up of over 600 tech workers, is officially on strike due to what they see as unfair labor practices by the company. They have been negotiating with management for months but have not reached a fair agreement. The guild works on the back-end of Times products, including games, recipes, podcasts, and election coverage. The NYT says they work on the business side. The Guild will be picketing in front of the NYT office in Times Square daily and is asking the public to support them by avoiding using Times’ games or cooking apps.
