National Weather Service forecasts more sweltering heat this week for Phoenix and Las Vegas areas

This week, there will be very high temperatures in parts of Arizona and Nevada, including the Phoenix metro area and other regions of Arizona. The National Weather Service has warned of extreme heat from Monday to Wednesday, with temperatures reaching 111 F or higher. In the first two weeks of June, many places are already experiencing increased temperatures. Phoenix set a record high of 110 F and 113 F this year. Las Vegas also saw temperatures above 108 F on Tuesday and up to 111 F on Wednesday. The heatwave is expected to continue, with temperatures exceeding 100 F in Phoenix on June 5th. This increase in temperatures is part of a trend of rising temperatures in various parts of the region.
