Minister Aurangzeb holds series of meetings in US

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb participated in high-level meetings at the World Bank-IMF Annual Meetings in Washington DC. He discussed Pak-US economic partnership, investment potential in various sectors, and appreciated support from the Islamic Trade Finance Corporation. The Minister also met with teams from Deutsche Bank and FitchRatings, highlighting Pakistan’s economic performance and measures being taken. He attended a roundtable on climate action and gave a talk on Pakistan’s economic outlook at the Wilson Center. Discussions included scaling up nature finance and closing the biodiversity finance gap. Overall, the Minister emphasized key reforms and partnerships to strengthen Pakistan’s economy.
