Live updates: Israel sends more troops into Lebanon and vows Iran will pay for missile attack



Palestinians in the West Bank celebrated next to a missile shell believed to be fired by Iran. Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon warned of a painful response to the Iranian missile attack. The U.S. Embassy in Israel lifted its shelter-in-place order, citing reduced missile threats. Hezbollah claimed to have forced Israeli soldiers to retreat from Lebanon. Israel sent more ground troops into Lebanon targeting Hezbollah. Iran warned of an even tougher response to any Israeli retaliation. Iran launched nearly 200 missiles at Israeli military targets, with many intercepted. A terrorist attack in Tel Aviv resulted in six casualties.
