Harvey Weinstein diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, sources say

Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein has been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia while undergoing treatment in prison at Rikers Island in New York. This form of cancer affects the bone marrow. Weinstein has also faced other health issues, including emergency heart surgery and a battle with Covid-19. He is currently involved in a legal battle with Manhattan prosecutors over new criminal charges, following the overturning of his previous conviction in New York. Despite this, Weinstein was convicted of rape in Los Angeles and sentenced to 16 years in prison, with his legal team currently appealing the decision.
