Harris raised 4 times more than Trump in donations for final election sprint

Vice President Kamala Harris raised significantly more money than former President Donald Trump in August, with her campaign bringing in over $189 million compared to Trump’s $44 million. This fundraising advantage has allowed Harris to outspend Trump on advertising and other campaign expenses. The Harris campaign has also seen a surge in donor enthusiasm, with a total of $361 million raised in August when combined with donations to the Democratic National Committee and fundraising committees. Heading into the final stretch of the election, Harris ended August with $404 million in cash on hand, surpassing Trump’s war chest of $295 million. Despite this, the Trump campaign remains confident in its ability to compete in the race.
