Harris accepts invitation for second potential debate in October

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has agreed to participate in a second debate with former President Donald Trump, hosted by CNN on Oct. 23. The campaign chair stated that the American people deserve another opportunity to see the two candidates debate before casting their ballots. Trump had previously praised CNN’s debate format and rules in June. Trump, however, has stated that there will be no third debate, citing that it is unnecessary and that voting has already started. The potential debate would take place close to Election Day and during early voting in some states.
