Funeral services held for Kentucky judge allegedly shot by sheriff in courthouse chamber



Kentucky District Judge Kevin R. Mullins, who was fatally shot by a sheriff last week, was remembered as a pioneer in fighting opioid addiction and advocating for treatment over jail for low-level drug offenders. Hundreds attended his funeral, where fellow judges praised his passion for helping people and his innovative approaches to addressing addiction.
