Floridians continue to clean up from Hurricane Milton, with over 1 million still without power

Florida residents who evacuated to escape Hurricane Milton are slowly making their way back home on crowded highways, tired from the long journey but grateful to be alive. Many faced damage to their homes, but are thankful that insurance should cover it. President Biden approved a disaster declaration for affected counties in Florida, providing federal funding for recovery efforts. Residents are urged to remain vigilant as safety threats like downed power lines and hidden hazards persist in the aftermath of the storm.
