Chiefs’ BJ Thompson ‘awake and responsive’ after seizure, cardiac arrest: agent

On Wednesday, BJ Thompson was hospitalized after suffering a seizure at a team meeting following a medical condition. Thompson, the defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is now stable and moving in the right direction. His agent, Chris Turnage, has confirmed that Thompson is responsive and recovering. The incident occurred during preparations for the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Thompson’s medical staff attended to him immediately, and he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The team canceled their training session and plans to reschedule it for the next day.
