Carjackings spike in swing state as car thefts rise 38%, juvenile suspects increase 127%: investigators

Juvenile suspects involved in these crimes also increased by 127%. Cities like Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Durham, and Raleigh saw significant increases in carjackings and overall crime. The issue of carjacking is becoming more prevalent, and law enforcement agencies have work to do to combat it. The Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Donald Trump for president, citing his support for law enforcement and border security. Public safety and border security are key issues in the upcoming election.
