Blinken makes clear to Israel that steps so far to increase aid in Gaza are insufficient 



Israeli leaders assured Secretary of State Antony Blinken that it is not their policy to isolate northern Gaza, despite the United Nations reporting that their requests to bring humanitarian aid to the area have been denied. The importance of increasing aid to Gaza was a key topic in discussions, and Israeli officials recognized the level of U.S. concern. Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had given Israel 30 days to increase aid or face restrictions on U.S. military assistance. Israeli officials outlined actions taken in response, but Blinken emphasized that more action is needed. Israel assured they are committed to the actions laid out by the U.S. and that results matter.
