The TV series ‘Welcome to Derry’ is set to release in 2025 and will feature Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård reprising his role as ‘Pennywise’ in an It prequel drama based on Stephen King’s 1986 horror book. The producers, Andy and Barbara Muschietti, along with director Jason Fuchs, are returning to bring this new series to life. The Muschietti siblings expressed their excitement about exploring the depths of King’s novel in all its heart, humor, humanity, and horror. Bill Skarsgård advised future actors taking on the role of Pennywise to make it their own and have fun with it. Fans can expect Welcome to Derry to be released in 2025.
