Anna Kendrick shared on a podcast that she donated all the profits from her Netflix movie about a serial killer to support survivors of sexual abuse and violence. She explained that the movie’s genre made her feel uncomfortable, so she decided to give back. The donation went to RAINN and the National Center for Victims of Violent Crime. RAINN’s founder expressed gratitude for Anna’s support and stated that her donation will help provide support to survivors through the National Sexual Assault Hotline. Anna also recently revealed that she survived an abusive relationship for 7 years.
