Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries and his associate pleaded not guilty to federal charges of sexually exploiting men who sought modeling opportunities with the clothing brand. The indictment accuses Jeffries and his partner of running an international sex trafficking enterprise, using deceptive tactics to recruit men for “Sex Events.” If convicted, they face life in prison on sex trafficking charges and up to 20 years for interstate prostitution. Jeffries was released on a $10 million bond with home confinement, while his partner and recruiter were also arrested and face similar charges.
