Ahead of the Diwali festival in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district, a team of food safety officers confiscated 300 kg of adulterated Mawa (Khoa) being transported from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Mawa was brought through bus parcel service and was being sold at cheaper rates. The suspect, identified as Praveen Jain, has been interrogated to ascertain whom he supplies the mawa to. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing, and appropriate actions will be taken. The officers are working diligently to confiscate adulterated items ahead of the festival to ensure public safety.
