The sandalwood paste for the kalabhabhishekam on Lord Ayyappa’s idol at Sabarimala will now be prepared in-house at Sannidhanam starting on Thiruvonam day. Previously, the paste was purchased by the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) and distributed to devotees.
