Former Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan recently expressed his disdain for the three-point line in the NBA, calling it the worst thing to happen to basketball in his lifetime. Despite acknowledging that the game has evolved and players like Steph Curry have revolutionized the three-point shot, Ryan still longs for a more balanced approach to shot selection in today’s game.
