The Pakistan cricket selectors have announced a 15-member squad for the first Test against England in Multan. The players have been withdrawn from the Champions One-Day Cup playoffs to rest before the series, as recommended by head coach Jason Gillespie. The squad will gather on September 30 for training starting on October 1. Left-arm spinner Noman Ali replaces injured Khurram Shahzad in the squad. Kamran Ghulam and Mohammad Ali remain in the selectors’ plans but will continue playing in domestic tournaments for match readiness. Coach Gillespie is excited for the upcoming series against England and looks forward to playing in front of their supporters.
