Mohammad Nabi, Afghanistan’s veteran all-rounder, has announced his decision to retire from One Day International (ODI) cricket after the 2025 Champions Trophy. Afghanistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Nasib Khan confirmed this, stating that Nabi had expressed his intentions to the board earlier. While Nabi’s ODI career will come to an end, Khan believes he will continue to play in T20 cricket. Since his debut in 2009, Nabi has been a key player and captain for Afghanistan, contributing to the team’s success on the world stage. He retired from Test cricket in 2019 to focus on limited-overs formats, where his skills have continued to impress.
