Manchester United is considering Brentford manager Thomas Frank and Sporting CP boss Rúben Amorim as potential replacements for recently sacked Erik ten Hag. Frank, who has been linked to United before, is under contract at Brentford until 2027, posing a challenge for his potential move. Amorim, on the other hand, has a lower release clause at Sporting. Other candidates for the permanent managerial position include Gareth Southgate, Graham Potter, and Xavi. Ruud van Nistelrooy has been appointed as a caretaker manager for now. The United squad did not train on Monday following Ten Hag’s departure, and they are set to train under Van Nistelrooy before their upcoming games.
