John Cook retires at Nebraska; Dani Busboom Kelly takes over



Nebraska women’s volleyball coach John Cook, who won four NCAA titles in 25 seasons with the Cornhuskers, has announced his retirement. Former player and assistant Dani Busboom Kelly will take over the program. Cook had an impressive coaching career with numerous championships, titles, and accolades. Busboom Kelly, a Nebraska native, had success at Louisville before returning to her alma mater. Cook expressed gratitude to his family, staff, and fans for their support over the years. The legacy of Nebraska volleyball, under Cook’s leadership, includes world-record attendance and a winning tradition that will be continued by Busboom Kelly.
