James Franklin refuses comment on rape charges against ex-Penn State football players

Penn State coach James Franklin declined to answer questions from reporters after two of his former players were accused of raping a 17-year-old girl in their apartment. Former players Jameial Lyons and Kaveion Keys are facing serious charges, including felony rape. The victim reported that she was assaulted by the players and was unable to stop them. A video of the incident was found on Keys’ phone. Penn State suspended the players from the football team and stated that they take reports of sexual assault seriously. The players are no longer enrolled at the university.
