Haider Ali wins bronze in Paris, 4th paralympic medal of his career



Pakistan’s Haider Ali won bronze in the Men’s Discus Throw F37 at the Paralympics with a 52.54m throw, his fourth Paralympic medal. Uzbekistan’s Tolibboy Yuldashev took gold with a massive 57.28m throw, setting a personal best. Canada’s Jesse Zesseu won silver. Ali led early but was overtaken before making a comeback in his final attempt. Ali’s medals are Pakistan’s only Paralympic medals. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised Ali’s courage and determination.
