Barcelona has extended Fermín López’s contract until 2029, with a release clause of €500 million. The 21-year-old player has been in great form, contributing to Barcelona’s recent victories against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. López, who came through the La Masia academy, had an impressive 2023-24 season and was part of Spain’s Euro 2024 winning team. Barcelona currently leads LaLiga, with a six-point lead over Madrid.
