Pakistan’s tennis team, led by Aqeel Khan, suffered a defeat against Barbados in the Davis Cup World Group II tie. Despite a strong effort, Pakistan lost in both the doubles and the first reverse singles matches. Aisam-ul-Haq and Aqeel Khan fell to the Barbadian duo in a close doubles match, while Yousaf Khalil was overpowered in the singles match. With this loss, Pakistan will now compete in the Group II play-offs to secure their spot in the competition. The team will have another chance to prove themselves and move up in the rankings.
