2025 March Madness men’s field predictions

ESPN’s Bracketology efforts are focused on predicting the NCAA basketball tournament field using data points favored by the selection committee. The 68-team bracket is the standard format since 2011, but the 2021 tournament will be played at a single site. There may be one fewer automatic qualifier due to the Ivy League’s decision to forgo the season. A 48-team bracket would reduce the field and have first-round games played on the higher seed’s home court. A 16-team bracket would include the top 16 teams selected by the committee, with a limit on conference participation to maintain balance.
