‘Women Used As Clickbait’: IAS Officer Hits Out at Telangana Minister For Samantha-Naga Divorce Remark



IAS officer Smita Sabharwal criticized Telangana Minister Konda Surekha for her comments on the divorce of Samantha and Naga, calling them dishonorable and not suitable for politics. Sabharwal highlighted the exploitation of women for sensationalism and received support for speaking out. Surekha later retracted her statement as a slip of the tongue but stood by her comments about another leader. She had previously alleged that Samantha’s divorce was due to political manipulation and blackmail. Nagarjuna’s N-Convention Centre was partially demolished, leading to further controversy.
