Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to appear before the Lokayukta police in Mysuru for questioning in the MUDA site allotment case. He has been accused of illegalities in allotting 14 sites to his wife by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority. Siddaramaiah filed an appeal challenging a single judge bench decision that was a setback to him. The High Court had ordered a Lokayukta police probe against him, following which an investigation report is to be filed by December 24. Siddaramaiah’s wife has already cancelled the allotted sites, and the ED has also filed a case in connection with the allegations.
